New This Year - Personalize Your Weekly Boxes

This season, I'm using a new platform called "Harvie" to manage my relationship with you. I'm so excited about this. The goal of this platform is to better serve your needs, decrease food waste, improve member satisfaction, and give you more tools to cook what we deliver to you. It's all about making your experience better because I want to be your farmer for the long haul! Click here for more details on the Harvie platform.

What is Community Supported Agriculture?

The Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model allows community members to get their hands on locally produced food. In this case, you invest directly in our farming project in exchange for a weekly basket of vegetables produced just outside of Red Deer.

What will you receive?

  • High quality food - a weekly (or bi-weekly) basket of vegetables produced just outside of Red Deer
  • Peace of mind - your delicious vegetables are produced 100% naturally without the use of any chemicals
  • Healthy Alternatives - with everything from arugula to zucchini, you get a wide assortment of vegetables to help jam pack your diet with healthy options
  • Meaning – your participation means that your daily meals have deep impact on the local economy. Your dollars allow us to develop our farming project, purchase seed and equipment, pay employees, and take care of our soil
  • Transparency - with chances to come out to the farm throughout the growing season, you can be a part of our journey, learn about where your food comes from, and develop a relationship with the people who are working hard to feed you and your loved ones

  • Your investment allows us to continue to work at the cutting edge of soil health. We know that healthy food comes from healthy soil and are committed to an active program of cover cropping and soil amending to make sure you get the absolute best quality vegetables possible.
  • Now, more than ever, we need to commit to local solutions to provide the essentials for our communities. Climate change has created uncertainty in the global food system. Your investment in local production helps us to develop the tools necessary to establish a resilient food system that can provide the essentials for our community
  • This is your chance to engage in, learn about, and develop a true connection to the ecosystem that provides for us and the timeless natural cycles that nourish us

We have two share options for you to choose from in order for you to find the right fit for you and your family. We have done our best to size these shares according to feedback that we have received from past customers so that they best reflect the eating habits we have found to be average. Your family may eat more or less than what these shares offer. The weekly dollar value may give you a better sense of the volume to be expected than the number of eaters we have designed the share for.

FULL SHARE $525 ($37.25/Week)

  • Weekly pick up at the location of your choice
  • Designed for a family of four or two eaters who really love their vegetables
  • Fresh vegetables from early July through early October

HALF SHARE $262.50 ($18.75/Week)

  • Bi-weekly pick up at the location of your choice
  • Designed for a couple, or for one person who takes vegetables seriously
  • Fresh vegetables from early July through early October
