Steel Pony Farm is a human-scale food project that provides families with high quality vegetables with a homegrown taste. City-kids-turned-farmers Mike, Kirsten and Andy are proud to grow food using natural methods that respect the web of life and that keep chemicals out of our soil. Committed to low impact farming, we transport our produce by bike and trailer so you can be sure it’s as local and fresh as it comes. We are working about two acres of land that has been generously shared with us by family friends. 2012 is our second year working together and we're looking forward to implementing all that we learned from our first year of farming. |
